For kilometers driven beyond the contractually agreed package, providers usually charge a fixed rate upon vehicle return (often between 0.15 CHF and 0.75 CHF per extra kilometer). If the mileage package is set too low (e.g., 10,000 km instead of 15,000 km), this can lead to additional payments.
